Jordyn Burkett '22 Recruiting Profile

My goal is personal growth through success in both academics and athletics. I am someone who works extremely hard, and while being competitive, I'm also a team player who personally invests myself in the success of of my teammates which leads to our success as a whole. I have been on varsity for three years, playing in two conference championships, winning one, two district championships and two state playoffs. Athletically I view each day on the court as a privilege that I want to extend as long as possible, treating each day as the gift that it is. Academically I maintained a GPA above 3.8 for all four years of high school working towards my goal of becoming someone in the medical field and saving lives. Life is short and opportunities are rare so I strive to take advantage when they arrive and most importantly recognize and appreciate all of them.
