Personal Statement
Outside of school I dedicate all my efforts into Volleyball and training. In my team, I take very seriously my role as Captain. I am always motivating my teammates to do their best no matter what the score is. I never give up in any in my matches, you will always see me fighting until the last point. In practices, you will find me playing with the same intensity as I will in a game. I have played Outside and Right side Hitter since the 6th grade and currently I am transferring into a Libero/DS. Volleyball motivates me to work hard each and every day to become a better player. In addition, I have participated AAU Girls Junior Nationals twice and have also been invited to participate in the Nokaoi Volleyball showcase in Hawaii where I had the chance to be team Captain and win second place in the gold bracket.
At school, I also participate in community service clubs. After the passing of Hurricane Maria I dedicated time to helping others and donating to people in need. When in my free time I love to spend time with my friends and family, go to the gym and taking trips to the beach. Most of my weekends I spend playing Beach Volleyball. Other than playing full time volleyball, I am also part of my schools table tennis, basketball, bowling, track & field and beach volleyball team which I enjoy playing for fun. Therefore, I can say I hold a very well balance between my academic and sports responsibilities. I also spend time working in my parents store where is where my love for pursuing my bachelors in business grew. My dream and goal is to complete my bachelors degree while playing volleyball in the U.S.
