Savannah Malphrus '15 Recruiting Profile

My name is Savannah Malphrus. I am a 5'8 all-around player. I currently attend Beaufort High School in Beaufort, South Carolina. Volleyball has been a major part in my life since I was in eighth grade. I have played club for three years for Lowcountry Volleyball Club and have enjoyed every second of it! I am a very hardworking and coachable player and am willing to learn everything and anything the college experience has to offer! Academic wise, I have been on the Honor Roll every year since sixth grade. I am currently in the National Honor Society and Interact Club. My GPA, unweighted, is a 3.6. Every aspect of volleyball I take very seriously to include: practices, games, and/or tournaments. I wouldn't want to miss any opportunity to reach my full potential! My over all goal is to complete college with a marketable degree in either Education or in the field of Science. My aspirations in life are to become a role model for young girls to strive to do their best in all that they do and to use all of their talents and abilities to their fullest potential. I feel I would be an asset to any women's college volleyball team because I bring leadership qualities, coachability, dedication, and the willingness to be a part of a team to any team. What makes me different from other recruits is my drive to succeed in all that I do. Quitting has never been an option, whether I was thrown in a new position on the court or challenged in the class room. I am SO excited for the new experiences and opportunities that may come!
