I strive daily to be better today than I was yesterday.  I have worked with a trainer and condition with the team every chance I get.  I understand the importance of hard work and am not afraid to sweat.  While playing volleyball in high school season as well as club season, I have learned how to maintain my academic success and prioritize my time.  There have been many sacrifices made when it comes to personal time with friends in order to be successful as a team and student.

I am interested in excelling at college and would love to be on a team as I know that is how I work better on and off the court.  It is important to me to have time with small groups of people so no one is left out.  I am undecided in my course of study, but know I want to work with people in one capacity or another.  I am very observant of others and pay close attention to detail.  I may not talk a lot, but I hear everything and strive to make changes when they are needed.

I love to travel and have been traveling the world since my 8th grade year.  I have had the opportunity to be a Student Ambassador and traveled to 8 countries in Europe with 40 other students my age.  I was also able to travel to Israel with 80 other students for my youth group over the summer of 2015.  Through the travel I have learned the importance of taking each opportunity and learning from it.
