Personal Statement
It makes me really excited to be so close to pursue my dream to be a doctor. I was chosen for the Congress of Future Physicians in Washington, DC. There I could see how my passion, academic accomplishments, leadership and athletic training and experiences all fuse together to make a successful college student. My interest for volleyball began in the 7th grade when I tried out for the middle school volleyball team and quickly had success. At that time I developed a love for the game of volleyball. When I got to high school, volleyball became more than just a game, it became a full time commitment. In volleyball I have learned leadership abilities that help me on the court, but that will also help me in the medical field. One of my favorite things about volleyball is being able to motivate my players and uplift them. I am ready for my next challenge in my life-long journey to continually lead, learn, and share my passion with others.
