Rebekah Parris '15 Recruiting Profile

To whom it may concern,
My name is Rebekah Parris and I am a highschool athlete. I am currently homeschooled and have been for every year except 4th grade when I attended a public elementary schoool. My family and I lived overseased in China for 9 years and have just returned to the states about 2 years ago. We live in South Carolina. I play volleyball and basketball for a sports league that our homeschool association has. We play against Christian schools, private schools, Catholic schools, charter schools, other homeschool teams etc. This is my second year playing for them This year we won 3rd place in the state tournament. I am throughly enjoying playing sports and training. I hope to continue to improve and excel in both sports. I play setter in volleyball.  I am 5"1 and 1/2  and weigh 110.4 lbs. I am a freshman in highschool and 14 years old. I am a hard working and have drive and passion that is hard to match. I am a leader. I do my best to lead my team and I feel like leading by example is the best way to do that. I want to go to a good college with a good academics as well as athletics. Small schools are fine as are big schools as long as their programs meet my expectations. I would perfer to stay close to home if possible especially because out of state is so costly. My dad is a Baptist Pastor and my mom is a stay at home mom so our income isn't that high and I am definatley hoping to get scholarships but will do whatever it takes to fufill my dream of playing sports at a college level if that is God's will for my life. I hope this has been helpful and given you a peek into my life and what I'm all about.
