Personal Statement
During the volleyball season, I believe that it is not just a team, but more so, a family. I have been apart of a team since 6th grade and I look forward to sharing the passion for the game each season. While losing my mother to cancer on January 8th of 2014, I turned to my team for guidance. While the team and I shared to unforgettable season, I will never forget the support I felt with the team I played with, and continue to. While volleyball has always been apart of my dreams, I also succeed in schooling. Receiving a 3.5 GPA throughout my four years, keeping up with weekly church, Salsa, FCA, National Honor Society, and teaching Sunday Bible School consume my life outside of volleyball. I plan to attend college, earn my degree in Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy and then go onto a successful job. These are a few examples that express a little about my personality.
