When I decided to try out volleyball at my local recreation center when I was 11 I knew that this is what I wanted to be a part of. I have played for school and club without missing a season ever since with the hopes to continue to play for college. I have learned over the past five years that volleyball is more than just a sport, its a learning experience that teaches discipline and teamwork amongst other things that I apply to my life on a daily basis. I am willing to work as hard as it takes to better myself on the court as well as off. Volleyball has made me realize that I’m a team player and that when I set my mind to a goal I have the ability to achieve it.
