Hi, my name is Mia Bergan and I am a 5'11" senior at Aberdeen Central High School. I have started for the past 3 seasons playing both right side (opposite) and setter. I started this past season as the setter on our team running a 5-1 offense. We struggled with passing and right side hitting, so half way through the season, we switched to a 6-2 offense. I played all 6 rotations, setting from the back row, and hitting in the front row. We compiled a 24-2 record, playing a total of only 85 sets. I ended this season with over 500 set assists, 120 kills, 175 digs, 50 blocks and 25 service aces. Our team won our conference and district titles and finished with a state championship win in class AA (largest class in South Dakota). I was also the setter for my club team (Kairos Elite), who won the 18U club division National Championships in Orlando, Florida this past summer with a record of 12-0!
