I have been on the A honor roll since kindergarten, have played several different roles as class offer, have a #1 class rank as a Junior, and took my ACT early as it was a requirement to take dual credit and Advanced Placement classes my Junior year. I stay after practice longer than everyone else, set up nets to play on off-days, come in to the gym with my mom (daughter of Galen Busch and South Dakota West River Volleyball Player of the Year, SDSU outside hitter, all-tournament team and State A Champion team with the Todd County Falcons, and played for the South All Star Team in the South Dakota All Star games), and put all my extra time into bettering myself as a person, student, and athlete. Both years of my attendance at the State A Volleyball Tournament, I have been named player of the semifinals and my team was State Runner-Up in 2018, with me as a starter and front row player. My coach says I will probably play my own back row last year, as my passing has improved greatly. I find myself a leader, even if I am not leading the team as a whole. I always find some odd way to fire up my teammates when we're down. My dream is to become the best I can possibly be, so I stand out not only as a hitter and blocker and server, but as a back row player, so I can continue to make all-tournament teams and hopefully achieve even my biggest goals. I know I am one of the hardest workers around, and I want that to show for me as I make myself a future including some volleyball.
