Personal Statement
This year’s high school Awards: National Honor’s Society, All District Academid, and Bulldog Award. The Bulldog Award recognizes exceptional character, integrity and passion.
In my undergraduate years I look forward to pursuing the beginning education needed to become a psychiatrist. I plan on completing either a BA or BS is psychology for my undergraduate education.
At a young age I was enrolled in competitive gymnastics. I competed for 6 years until I realized that I was not built for the sport. From gymnastics I developed a strong work ethic and core strength that greatly enhance my volleyball skills. My background also taught me to respect my coaches, listen to their instruction and apply what I've learned. I am very coachable and work extremely hard to be at my best. I recognize the importance of helping my teammates reach for and achieve their goals. I am passionate about volleyball and I can't wait to join a college team where I can contribute to the team's success.
I'm also an excellent student and I work hard every day to maintain high grades. I'm currently ranked 97th in my class of 790 sophomores at James Bowie High School in Austin, TX. I'm working hard to get into the top 10% of my class. My combined SAT score is 1330.
Last year I played U18 National Team as a U17 eligible player for Magic Volleyball Club. This year I am playing U18 National team for Austin Skyline Juniors. Playing up has giving me the opportunity to play with teammates who are more mature and have advanced skill, which pushed me to excel at a higher level. I had a great Junior year of high, playing Varsity for James Bowie High School (large 6A school in the Austin Independent School District) and advancing to the first round of the Texas State Playoffs.
Thank you for reviewing my account and I look forward to future contact!
