Personal Statement

I attend Ursuline Academy in Dallas Texas, and will graduate in May, 2018.  My goal is to play volleyball in college for a school with an outstanding academic program.

I am a 5'10" setter and right side hitter.  As a junior I was captain of my high school team and selected to the All-Disrict and All-State teams.   This past club season I played setter for Madfrog 17 National Blue.  We finished 13th at USAV Natonals in the Open Division and I am returning to Madfrog next club season.  This will be my 7th season of club volleyball.  I have received team leadership awards, team MVP awards, and have served as team captain.  I have run a 5-1 and a 6-2 as a S/RS, and my teams have performed well in national qualifiers and tournaments.

My sets are consistent and accurate.  I read hitters and blockers well, am a good defender, and I am a capable hitter and blocker.  I have a positive attitude and I am a good floor leader.  I am very coachable, and I am a quick study so I execute game plans well.  I believe these things will help me be a successful player in college.

Thank you for your interest.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
