Kyla Riley '21 Recruiting Profile

From the sound of the whistle being blown to begin the set to the final whistle blown to end the match that feeling of adrenaline and euphoria is what drives me.  I embody teamwork, commitment and dedication.  I have always enjoyed playing sports.  When I was five I played t-ball.  At the age of nine my mom introduced me to Volleyball.  Who knew it would become my favorite sport.  From the start several coaches felt I was athletic enough to play at a higher level that’s how I began playing club volleyball.  I have also played basketball and ran track.  Academically I have been in Honors classes since 6^th grade.  As a freshman this year I was an all-around starter on the Varsity volleyball team.  I am enrolled in the schools Collegiate Academy program.  My goal is to continue maintaining a high GPA and commitment, leadership and success on and off the court.  I am looking for a program that will be a good fit for me academically as well as athletically.
