Yulitza Ramos '24 Recruiting Profile

Hi! My name is Yulitza Ramos and I am a junior at Harker Heights High.  I was first introduced to the game of volleyball at a very young age.  My mom started teaching me the basics when I was only 6 years old.  Volleyball is a really big part of my life and I have been playing competively since I was 12. I consider myself to be a versatile player.  For my club team, I am an outside hitter and sometimes a defense specialist. For my high school team, I play as a setter, outside hitter, and sometimes I also play DS.    I work really hard to improve my skills and strive to be a better player and teammate every year.  I attend clinics, go to open gyms, and camps whenever I can.  My goal is to play volleyball at a collegiate level while also pursuing a degree in nursing. 

 Aside from volleyball, I spend a lot of time with my family.  I enjoy playing board games,  doing arts and crafts, and bowling. I hope to become a great role model for my  younger siblings and make my family proud.
