Personal Statement
I am a hardworking, smart student athlete leader on and off the court. Not only can I read and help my teammates on the court, I have a desire to help people everyday. I've done various types of volunteer work such as helping out at a hope store to volunteering in a retirement home. I love the feeling of being able to put a smile on somebody else's face. I would love to play volleyball and be a part of a team that has the same goals that I do. Working together to be successful. I take that same approach with life. Helping others, being my best and do what is necessary to be successful. If I fail, I consider that an opportunity to learn and improve.
- Freshman year I was given the Lightening Bolt award which is voted by my teammates. As my coach explains this award; it is the award given to the player that everyone would like to be.
- Most Valuable Volleyball Player Sophomore year
- Joules award in Geometry
- DFW Varsity - Star Telegram Volleyball player of the week
- 3.80 GPA
- 95 out of 612 Class Ranking
I would like to major in Psychology because I am very intrigued on other people's state of mind. Learning about the way other people think and do things, why they do things, has me very interested. It would be amazing if I could learn how to help others and give them feedback based on how they think and feel. I dream of being a Counselor, Therapist, or Psychologist.
What sets me apart? I am very loud and have a strong positive energy. I am smart and realize that rewards in life, both on and off the court, have to be earned. I am a very encouraging teammate and I learn from my mistakes. I am not afraid of hard work both physically and mentally. I am also a very coachable player and easy to work with. I would be an asset to your team if given the opportunity.
