I have been working toward a collegiate volleyball career since I was 11 years old when I started playing club volleyball. After my faith and family, volleyball is my greatest passion. I dedicate myself every day to making the most of each opportunity to improve myself both on and off the court. I am a hard worker with high expectations of myself in all I do. While I am very competitive, I am also very encouraging with my teammates and serve as a humble leader by example. I think one of my greatest strengths is in building relationships with my teammates that continue beyond our years together on the court. I feel this trust is essential for a team to achieve the chemistry needed to be successful.
I have been blessed to have the opportunity to play middle hitter, outside hitter, and right side hitter throughout my club and varsity experience. I believe this flexibility and combination of skills makes me a well-rounded player that is comfortable anywhere on the court. My attitude is to continue growing as a student of the game to increase my volleyball IQ just as I work to grow my academic IQ. I love learning new skills as well as working to perfect current skills in order to challenge myself each time I step on the court. I respect my coaches and teammates and will always support what is best for the team.
