Madison Brown '19 Recruiting Profile

I am seeking a college program that has a competitive culture and a team that plays passionately. I am interested in being apart of a program where everyone- players and coaching staff- is working together for a collective goal to not only win but become better individuals. 

I played at University of the Incarnate Word (a member of the Southland conference) for my Freshman season. I played in 22 matches (starting in 19) in 2019, playing both DS and Libero for my team. I was able to get 160 digs, 47 assists, 16 aces, and 7 kills throughout the season. 

My current GPA is 3.46 and I am majoring in business with a concentration in sports management.

On Maxpreps, for 2016 regular season, I am ranked 1st in Texas 5A division in digs for sophomores; 2nd in Texas for all Liberos in digs per set (5.9/set) and 13th in the country for total digs (650) by a sophomore Libero.

For 2017, I had 669 digs, 51 aces and 82 kills, as well as a 2.3 serve receive average.

In school, I was a National Honor student and I take Pre AP and AP classes, and have a earned GPA of 4.8 and an unweighted GPA of 3.9/4.0.

I was the Sports Editor for the school yearbook, have been an active member of Braswell’s student council and one of the leaders for Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
