Chelsea Jolivette '14 Recruiting Profile

My name is Chelsea Jolivette and I am a Junior at Dillard University where I am majoring in Business Management.  I have two years of collegiate volleyball experience and is seeking to continue playing volleyball in the Fall 2017.  I am a hard working team player on and off the court and is focused and dedicated to playing collegiate volleyball again, due to coaching changes.  I am a Setter from Houston, Texas where I started playing at a young age.  I have 9 years of club experience where I played club volleyball with the Houston Juniors Volleyball Club, in the Setter's position.  I have attended many college volleyball camps during my Middle and High school years, to perfect my skills and volleyball has always been a sport I thoroughly enjoy.  I was the starting Setter for three years on my varsity high school team.  As a Junior, I was honored to be voted to the 1st Team All District - 21 5A Team for 2012 and in my senior year I was voted to the 1st Team All District - 21 5A Team for 2013, as well.  

One of my most memorable accomplishments was during my participation at the Colorado Crossroads Junior National Qualifier in March 2011.  I was recognized and selected as a standout top athlete and chosen to represent and play on the 2012 Triple Crown Volleyball All American Team in July of 2012 in New York City.

I have a strong passion for the game of volleyball and have always wanted to play at the collegiate level.  I was blessed to have been given the opportunity to play for two years and I am looking to continue playing at the collegiate level.  As a student athlete, I am looking for a school where I can continue to make a contribution on and off the court as well.
