Tressa Buckland '15 Recruiting Profile

I'm so excited by the prospect of going out into the world to continue my studies and play both indoor and beach volleyball at the collegiate level. I aspire to better myself and provide a strong life foundation by studying hard and being an integral and committed part of a collegiate team. Although I'm just a junior in High School right now, I'm interested in nutritional sciences because better diet and health is not only important for my own personal performance, but for the ongoing prosperit and health of our country and the world for that matter. This field of study is also of great global importance. On that note, I would also very much like to use academics and sport as a springboard for further travel and service outside of America. I feel that a global perspective will be important both for the work world as well as for my personal growth. According to my coaches, I am an extremely hard worker, a natural leader, “highly coachable”, and would be an huge asset to both a beach and indoor team. I'd like to live up to those expectations.
