Belén Gollaher '17 Recruiting Profile

Thank you for taking the time to view my profile. My name is Belén Gollaher and I have previously been a middle blocker from Syracuse High School in Syracuse, Utah, but my senior year I have been playing right side. I love the challenges and opportunities I’ve been able to experience as a student athlete. It is a great feeling to be part of a team, knowing that we are working together to achieve the same goal.

I’m a leader on and off the court, and a motivator to others. I’m extremely competitive, so sports have been a passion for as long as I can remember. In addition to volleyball, I also start on the varsity basketball team for Syracuse.

I love the value of hard work. I have learned to push through tiredness and fatigue to achieve my goals. Club volleyball runs during high school basketball season, so it hasn’t always been easy to meet the demands of both sports while also maintaining a 4.0 GPA.

Besides sports, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family. I enjoy photography and have recently started playing the ukulele! I enjoy my time off the court, but am always wanting to improve my skills and play the sport I love.
