Hi my name is KyLee Palmer and I play Libero and Defensive Specialist. I began playing club volleyball around the 6th grade which fueled my love for the sport! I started at Club GSL from 12u-15u then transferred to Club V North for 16u and 17u. Fortunately, I have been able to make the top team each year. I have started Varsity with my high school since my Freshman year. I played beach volleyball during the summers and it made me love the game of volleyball even more. Beach volleyball helped me become much faster when I returned to hard court volleyball. During my 2021 high school season I was asked to play various positions for my team due to players being out. This gave me a better understanding of each position on the court and an even bigger appreciation for my teammates and the positions that they play. This season I lead my High School team with the most service aces and made All Region 8, 2nd Team!
I currently play for Club V 17u Black team coached by Nicole Hogan. Our first tournament is on January 8th and it is one of the several local tournaments that we are playing in. We are also going to be playing in the Salt Lake USAV National Junior Qualifier (March 11-13) and the Dallas Lone Star Tournament (April 15-17) and we are hoping to get to more National Qualifiers if we can make it work with everyone's schedule.
Academics are extremely important to me. Currently, I have a 4.0 GPA and have held it since my freshman year as well as making the Honor Roll each year. I was on the 2020 AAU Academic All-American list. I will be taking my ACT very soon and I will be able to post my scores when I have them.
