Personal Statement
My dream is to be a sports broadcaster and a sports trainer for the NHL or NFL. My goal is to succeed in life, and in all my sports, I always give it my all.
As a captain, I encourage my teammate through every game. I try to be the best leader I can be, and we try to achieve a sense of unity so we can play better. In addition, I try to hustle and get a hand on every ball that might be shanked or headed for no man's land. Even if the ball is impossible to get, I hustle to try and make a play. Throughout my career in volleyball, it has always been important to lift up our team and get them to play to their full potential.
I can jump serve, but I do not because I don't want to accidentally miss them and mess up my serving percentage. During my 2012-2013 season, I was was ranked #1 in the state of Virginia for the most digs which were 622. Throughout the season, I only missed 5 serves which made my serving percentage a 98.8%. I am always the loudest member on the team because talking to our hitters whether they have one or two blockers is very important. I hope to play on the next level and achieve my very best.
