I started playing volleyball in 5th grade when I was 10 years old. I knew right away that this was my sport, and I wanted to be a setter. I was participating in multiple sports including soccer, swimming, cheerleading, and basketball, but my passion was volleyball. I was selected to play junior varsity as a freshman in high school, and moved up to varsity as a sophomore. I have played club volleyball since I was 10 years old, as a setter for each team.
I have a "never let that ball drop" attitude and will go after anything. I pride myself on my keen court presence and doing what it takes to lead my team to victory as a setter, but I am also willing to play anywhere my coach needs me. I like to hit right side as well, and it is my natural strong side since I am left handed. I love to block and shut down the opponents offense.
My goal is to set for a college volleyball team while pursuing my degree in Education/Teaching. I am strong academically, taking honors, dual enrollment and AP courses that are available. I believe in being strong mentally and physically.
