Personal Statement

Hey coaches,

I started playing volleyball when I was at the end of my 7th grade year. When I started playing, I wasn't that excited to play, but at the end of my first practice I fell in love with the sport. By the end of the season I was looking for clinics and summer camps to could attend to learn more about my new favorite sport.

Over the next couple of years I set small goals for myself so I could focus on what was the next thing I wanted to achieve. I am a great listener and have been told I am very coachable. My next goal is to lead my team to a conference title and advance further than my school has advanced in Regionals and State.

I am constantly looking for ways to improve and will ask if there are any improvements I can make, so I can continue to play volleyball for as long as I can.

On my varsity team I play with elite level players. This encourages me to work extremely hard in practice so I can to earn the opportunity to play in games and perform at the same level as my teammates.
