I fell in love with the sport of volleyball in 5th grade at the small Christian school that I was attending and have been playing since that time. From that point on, it became my passion and life. After attending a volleyball game at Liberty University in 2012 and speaking with a player after the game, I found out about club volleyball in my area and was able to get placed on a team with the Hampton Roads Juniors. Since then, I have been playing travel/club volleyball and I completely love and enjoy playing on a club/travel team. I love the game of volleyball because it teaches not only physical skills but leadership, teamwork, and determination. The unique skills that each player brings to the court and the different personalities of each player has taught me how to put personal issues aside while on the court and to encourage everyone to do their best during the game and practices. I want to continue my passion for volleyball when I graduate high school and play at a college level. I would like to continue to improve my skills, leadership, and teamwork after my high school years and feel that I have the ability, attitude, determination, and drive to play for a college team.
