Personal Statement

My name is Imani Frogge and I’m a senior from Bremerton, Washington. I play volleyball for Olympic High School as a middle hitter.  I started playing volleyball my seventh grade year and have grown the biggest passion for the game. I figured playing volleyball would give me the chance to learn something fun and new. Ever since then, I wish I could be on the court all day!

My freshman year, I started on junior varsity. Soon enough, I moved up as a starter for the varsity team. That year, I was voted Most Improved by my teammates. I also was a starter for the varsities team my sophomore and junior year. We fought our hardest to make it to state, but the farthest we reached was districts. I was also voted a Second Team All-League player my sophomore and junior year. I’m proud of the accomplishments we made as a team, and am excited to commit one more year to my high school experience.

Not only do I have a passion for volleyball, but I love working with children and animals. I hope to find a school where I can further my knowledge in either area. I would love to stay in the West, but am always willing to consider other schools if needed.

Volleyball has given me the opportunity to gain lifelong leadership and responsibility traits. I would love to continue playing for as long as possible. I know my dedication and integrity would be a great asset to any team.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
