Paige Richmond '23 Recruiting Profile

      My dream is to play volleyball in college, while attending a great school that fits my academic needs. Volleyball became part of my life when I was in 4th grade. Once I started playing the sport, I knew it was for me. Over the years of playing volleyball I have developed many skills and friendships. Playing volleyball has allowed me to be able to lead, communicate, and work together. I have always been a setter. The thing I love most about setting is being able to make the right decision, quickly to who I should set the ball to. Setting has many challenges that I enjoy. I hustle after every ball to make the play the best it can be. I’m a dedicated team player that encourages others to never give up and have positive thoughts. In practices and games, I give it 100%, so I can improve as much as I can.

        My height is 5’5, approach jump is 8’6, and reach is 82.5. I’m determined to excel as a player and person. I am strong academically, taking all honors, college classes, and some AP classes with a GPA of 4.5.  

         I would like to go to a big school with great academics. I’m open to any schools. I’m a team player that enjoys new challenges and experiences. I push the team to succeed and give it their all. The best part of playing volleyball is working together as a team. I'm looking forward to finding the right school to succeed at both athletically and academically.
