Thank you for this opportunity! My first goal, is to attain my degree in science so that after college I am able to start a career in this field. Secondly, Volleyball is my passion! I have played volleyball since I was 11 and there is no other place I would rather be than on the court. Also, although I am not the tallest candidate that you will be looking at, I make up for it in hard work ethic, attitude and willingness to play as a team and where I am needed. On the majority of my club teams I was awarded the best all around player. Relative to academics, I have been able to juggle both keeping up my high grade point average along with sports. When I am not playing volleyball or studying, I have a part time job at McDonalds, volunteer, and also help watch my 2 younger brothers. I think that you could say I am a very well balanced person. I am also a leader on the court relative to keeping up the teams spirits and changing the momentum when the team gets down. I feel I would be a great addition to your team. Thank you for taking the time to consider me and I would be honored to hear from you.
