My name is Kelie Reimer and I am from Fond du Lac, WI. I am a Senior and a part of the graduating class of 2012 at Fond du Lac High School where I am a two sport athlete participating in volleyball and soccer. My love is volleyball 24-7, but I also have been playing soccer for 13 years of which the past 8 years have been a high level travel or state league. I was also on the swim team during my early sporting life for 8 years, prior to choosing volleyball as my number one commitment. I also enjoy animals, reading, art, and kettle bell training in my spare time. I love sunshine, warm climates, beaches, and traveling, especially to South FL to spend time at our family vacation home in Ft.Lauderdale. Since falling in love with the South Florida lifestyle and its climate, and my passion for marine animals, I have also now placed an interest in Marine Biology/Zoology. I am a 5'5" Libero 120 lbs and have a kettle bell built mind and body. I am currently a 4 year varsity starter for my Div 1 high school volleyball team. Our team reached the WIAA State Tournament the past 3 years. My sophmore year, 2009, we lost in the quarterfinals, my Junior year, 2010, we made it to the semi-finals, but then lost; both times to our own conference rival! This year my Senior year 2011, we finally made it to the Championship game. However, we lost and ended up being the State runner-up. I was selected All Conference Honorable Mention Libero my Jr year along with a coaches award for most valuable defensive player. This year I was 1st Team All Conference Libero and was selected as the Libero to the All State Tournament Team, I also received a coaches awad for most valuable team defensive player. I am also currently playing my 9th year of club volleyball. I play libero at the 18's Black level for Wisconsin Volleyball Academy out of Appleton, WI. I am a dedicated student athlete seeking the best fit for my college experience. I believe I can play as a freshman at the highest competition level possible. As my height may be a factor for a high level player, I know I can and will make an impact on your team with my leadership skills and excellent serve receive and ball control to keep the offense running consistantly in system. My dream to be a collegiate athlete is why I dedicate myself to challenges and pressing obligations which require time management and leadership skills. I will make a significant difference by applying and balancing both of these skills to show initiative, energy, and responsibility to master the transition into becoming your collegiate athlete.
