Brittany Schumacher '11 Recruiting Profile

I am a freshman at Central Connecticut State University and I was the starting Libero for the majority of the season as we took 3^rd in the Northeastern Conference. I also received four awards as a freshman. I received Molton/Northeast Conference Rookie of the Week, Molton/Northeast Conference Defensive Player of
the Week award twice, and I also was on the All-Tournament Team for the Dartmouth Tournament.

 I have 2 years of Club experience with Eclipse VBC, 1 year of experience with G-Force VBC, and 1 year of experience with Milwaukee Sting VBC. I received Rookie of the Year Award my sophomore year on Varsity and played starting libero for my high school team this. My junior year, my team and I competed in the JVA World Challange hosted in New Orleans, LA and took 2nd place. That June, my team and I traveled to the AAU National Championships hosted in Orlando, FL and placed 3rd in the club division. My senior year I was voted Captain of the team along with starting libero. I'm a great leader and control the back row extremely well. I've recieved 3rd Team All Conference my senior year and recieved a captains award from my coach. My 18's club season went good as well. We took 22nd at the AAU National Championships again hosted in Orlando, FL in the club division. I'm currently attending Central Connecticut State University as a freshman and also as the starting libero for my team.
