Alyssa Mikesell '17 Recruiting Profile

My name is Alyssa Mikesell I have been playing water polo for 6 years. I am a hard worker and try to exceed every expectation that is set. I have been a starter on all of my high school seasons and on my club teams. All of my coaches say I am very coachable and a team player. On my high school team I am known for my "deadly defense". Although I also love shooting the ball. I have made many half court shots through my years and they have become more frequent in the past three.

I am also very academically sound. I have a 3.8 cumulative GPA and a 4.3 weighted GPA. I am able to remain a good student while balancing water polo, being a cadet officer at the Concord Police Department, and being a party motivator for Dennon and Doyle. 

I am looking for a college that will challenge me both in the pool and academically. I am looking to study psychology and eventually have a job in law enforcement.
