2019 HighlightsPersonal Statement
Starting water polo at the age of 7 has afforded me an advantage over many of my competitors. I have developed a high water polo IQ throughout my 9 years of playing, studying, and watching the sport. As a left handed attacker, one of my roles in the pool is talking through the plays as they are executed; 6 on 5 is my specialty. I love the physical aspect of the game, but also the strategic, critical thinking, and play making side of the sport. I expand my knowledge of water polo by constantly updating my playbook, watching films, and creating a good relationship with my coaches and teammates to ask questions and strive to become a better player. Water polo has shaped me into the resilient, self confident, dedicated, and responsible person I am now and prepared me for a future in collegiate sports.

- Our High School Team has the privilege of having a personal trainer. His role in the weight room is to tailors our training sessions to maximize our strength while minimizing injuries. We train Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday from 6AM-7:30AM.

- During High School Season our coaching staff sees it essential that we retain our speed and stamina during the game. This is why we swim from 6AM-7:30AM on Mondays and Wednesdays.

- Our team practices Monday- Saturday for 3 hours which focus on all aspects of the game: counter attacks, offense, defense, plays, 6-5, 5-6.
