Naomi Sanders '17 Recruiting Profile

I am 17 years old and have been playing club polo since I was 10 and swimming competitively since I was 7 . I am 5.11 185 lbs. I have been to many tournaments and played my first 18 u and open Women's tournament when I was 12. I have always played up because of my size and ability. I have also been to many training camps including The Olympic training center in Colorado as well as The Olympic Development Program in California. I have also been competing in the Junior Olympics for the past several years. I am working with ODP to become a more well rounded player. I have been playing varsity polo as a starter for 4 seasons now at my school and began in the eighth grade. I received All County Honorable Mention,as an eighth grader I was chosen as Freshman Athlete of the year at Westminster Academy and First Team All-County in Broward and Dade counties. I am one of the top scorers in my region.We won Districts and Regionals both years and I have played in State Quarterfinals both years. As a Junior I was chosen Athlete of the year again and all- county in both regions. My desire is to get a great education playing the sport I am passionate about. I have been working very, very hard and have come to realize the harder I work the better I become as a person, student and athlete.I am still very young and not completely sure of my college major, But one thing I am sure of is that I would be a great addition to your team. I realize no matter how good I am as a player...and I am good..it takes a team to win. And I want to win! Not just in water polo, but in all areas of my life! Coach I am also looking for someone who will invest in me and take me to the next level of my game. I am dependable, honest and considerate of my team mates.
