Personal Statement
I would love to play college water polo because I love water polo with all my heart; I work extremely hard in everything I do, whether it's school, sports, or even just hobbies I want to improve on . I would stop at nothing to get better. I've been the lead scorer on my team since freshman year. As a captain this year, with a whole slew of younger girls, I've been coaching them how to become the best players they can be. I've swam for 3 years now and was captain during the 2015 season as a junior in high school. I went to state my sophomore year and swam in 4 events. I also went to state my junior year and swam in 3 events. I'm dedicated to the sports I'm in. With polo, the team practices co-ed, I love playing on the boys because it gives me a hard challenge. I like to see how I compete with them. My brother was a really good player; I like playing on him and being able to learn what, when, and how he works in the pool. I'm very coachable and will take time out of my day to learn new skills on my own. It would be the best experience ever to be able to compete on a higher level.
