I am an aspiring collegiate athlete with a deep-rooted passion for martial arts and a strong commitment to personal growth. With 10.5 years of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ), 3 years of wrestling, and a transition into Muay Thai and MMA, my journey through combat sports has not only honed my physical abilities but also shaped my mindset and character.

I began my martial arts journey in BJJ, dedicating over a decade to the art. I've achieved a blue belt, and during my journey, I have learned the values of discipline, perseverance, and the importance of continuous improvement.

During my high school years, I joined the wrestling team, further diversifying my skill set. Wrestling instilled in me the importance of grit, determination, and the value of hard work.

Transitioning to Muay Thai and MMA, I've embraced the multifaceted nature of these disciplines. The blend of striking, grappling, and the mental challenges of MMA is a true testament to my adaptability and willingness to embrace new challenges.

One of my guiding principles is my deep appreciation for Stoic philosophy. I believe in the power of controlling one's emotions and understanding that adversity is an opportunity for growth. This philosophy has instilled in me the resilience to face setbacks head-on and to keep a clear focus on my goals.

In addition to my athletic pursuits, I maintain a 3.2 GPA in my academic studies, as well projected to get high 20's on my ACT. My commitment to both my education and sports demonstrates my ability to balance diverse responsibilities and excel in all areas of life.

I have cultivated a mindset that embraces constructive criticism as a path to improvement. I understand the value of feedback in my athletic journey and life as a whole, making me open to learning and growth.
