Hi my name is Derek K Burton. I live in a small town in Sacramento California called Rancho Cordova. I am looking forward to college in a few years but want to attend with a scholarship to a 4 year, majoring in Cell biology. My past years wrestling i've achieve a lot, many 1st place and placing medals but never made it to states. i sadly went 1-2 at SJS masters 2015. since seasons been over i'm still practing hard for next year. im a hard working athlete/student. I focus in school and focus on the mat as well. i love pushing my partners on and off the mat to stay head of the game. This past year i was on Cordova's varsity at 126 weight class. When i was on varsity i learned a lot from my peers and so these next years im excited to learn more. I would like to attend any 4 year college with wrestling and become an NCAA champ or an All American. i would like to attend a great college with coaches who can mold me into a gentlemen but also an efficent wrestler on the mat. I am a very responsible young man and a very respectful one too. Now hopefully i get a college.
