My goal is to be wrestle in college while maintaining a 4.0 GPA. My coach recently told me , "I am one of the most reliable and most responsible wrestlers he has coached in 25 years., and my outstanding leadership was one of the main reasons our team placed in the top ten at states.
Just won 1st place at Districs 2/17/17 and won the outstanding wrestler of Districts Award ... ! Knocked out the #1seed and beat up on all opponents.
Took 3rd ar Regionals-- 6-1 Headed to states ! STATE QUALIFIER !!!
*Ranked 5th in state of Florida
I work hard every day. I go to crossfit or meet my coach at 5:30am before school 4xs week, then directly after school I study for an hour then hit practice hard. I have become disciplined and know the reward makes it all worth it. I have sacrificed a lot to get where I am today and I don't engage in peer pressure and have time for any distractions. Wrestling is an extreme sport for guys with heart and desire. I have NEVER missed a practice or lift practice since 8th grade. Commitment is what it's all about. I also have not missed any school unless it was for a tournament.
My dads side of the family has a strong bloodline in the military dating back to the civil war. I am a son of a veteran and lieutenant of the sheriffs office. With this aspect in my life I have many different skills involving leadership, survival, and confidence. I never miss practice or classes and I arrive early everywhere I go.
I have learned how to balance academics and wrestling. Wrestling is a commitment all year and a big part of defining the person I am today. I am looking for a coach and program I can excel in and take it to the next level.
