As a wrestler I always strive for the best on and off the mat. I would like to wrestle in college because I want to push myself and I don't believe that I have reached my full potential and college wrestling would help me achieve that. My dream is to be able to win a NCAA National Championship. As I am excelling on the mat I also want to achieve my goal of getting a degree in college.
The tools I use to excel on the mat are my work ethic and my moves that I have been perfecting for the past four years. At the beginning of my freshman year I weighed around 230. By the time wrestling season came around I weighed 210 pounds and wrestled varsity as our heavyweight. In the off-season I dedicated myself to losing weight and by the time wrestling season came around again I weighed 178 pounds and was wrestling at 182.
On the mat my go to moves from neutral are a far side ankle pick and a double leg. On the bottom my go-to is and inside switch or a knee-slide stand up. On top I prefer to control a wrist or ride legs.
