When I was in the eighth grade, my father kept bringing up wrestling and how I should try it out, but at that time, I wasn't really interested in the sport. I was a National Competitor in Judo, so my main focus was in Martial Arts. When my freshman year came around, I spoke to the head wrestling coach at my high school, he advised me that with my background in judo, that I should add wrestling into my life. When conditioning came around, I went to the practices really skeptical, but I witnessed the brotherhood and passion that this sport has to offer, so I gave it a try. Ever since then, I fell in love with the sport. I have learned that strong mental toughness is key to winning; mentally and physically, I have developed through wrestling. I eat breath and sleep wrestling.
I have always been a good scholar. I started earning credits towards my HS Diploma in Middle School. When I graduate high school my goal is to graduate with at least a 5.0 gpa. I plan to take several college classes through the dual enrollment program my junior and senior years. My goal for college is to major in Geology, as this has been my passion since the 6th grade, and I also hope to be a National Champion Wrestler and an All American. Sometimes, with having asthma, it is hard when I run on the track and at times during workouts, but I always push through it, and I never use it as an excuse. I always grind my way to the top and I absolutely love to prove people wrong when it comes to school and even wrestling.
