I have been wrestling since the age of four. My older brother helped me get started. I remember watching the giants on the mat and wishing I could be out there with them. The coach asked my parents if I would be wrestling. At the time they thought I was to young, but I kept going to practice with my brother and getting on the mat to show everyone I was not to little. The rest is history and I have been wrestling every since. I make it a point to be out there working with the little kids every chance I get. I have been working with the young wrestlers and Junior High team for two years. I believe teaching the younger wrestlers helps me to become a better athlete.
I also play football but wrestling is my passion. I have wrestled on the varsity team since my Freshmen year. I will graduate in 2015 and hope to continue wrestling at the collegiate level while obtaining a degree in Business. I have great sportsmanship, I am a team captain, and a team player. I believe those attributes along with practicing everyday during the season and out of the season would make me an asset to any team. I set my goals high and work hard to attain them because I believe hard work is the key to success.
