My name is Dorian Vaughns and I have been wrestling since I was 14 years old. I am a senior at John F Kennedy in Chicago, Illinois. My passion for wrestling definitely came from my Coach who was the first person to show me the great sport .My short term goals include improving my state placing from my Freshman Year (Top 16), Sophomore Year (DNP COVID), Junior Year (Top 10)
My long term goals include being a starting wrestler for a college with an extremely strong wrestling program and the same work ethic and values that were instilled in me growing up in the tough inner city of the south side of Chicago. I have a strong faith, sheer determination, a will to succeed, and will always give 10,000% to reach my goals. I want to be the best that I can be, and I know a college with a strong program can help me build on my existing capabilities which will assist me in obtaining my dreams of becoming an NCAA Champion.
