I have a goal of graduating from college with a degree in a field that I find interesting and fulfilling. At the same time I would like to be a part of a college wrestling team where I can contribute my skills and passion for the sport. I will be a good candidate for a collegiate team because I'm dedicated to working hard, pushing myself to do my best, and I listen and apply feedback and instructions from my coaches. At the same time, I encourage and support my teammates and work to build team relationships and positive energy.
I'm currently a student at a small private school that focuses on building strong character and academics first and foremost. This has given me a strong moral background, built independence, developed honor, and taught me the importance of responsibility and accountability. These qualities are equally important in athletics. By playing on three different athletic teams throughout the school year, I can identify my strengths and weaknesses on each team, my roll in each sport, and how to be a positive contributor within the different team dynamics. These experiences have given me confidence that I can positively contribute in a collegiate setting.
