Personal Statement

I love history and plan to have this as my major with a minor in business because I would like to learn from history's successes and failures as a great platform to understand the business world and where it is going. My goal is to grow in maturity and learn as much as I can to help my family's new company to succeed and continually make wise decisions.

I am focusing 100% of my energy to be the best wrestler I can be, leaving football and lacrosse. While I did not finish as well as I desired at Regionals for the 2013-14 MHSAA season as I planned, I have grown in great strides since then, competing every weekend in the USA wrestling circuit and other events. I have been actively training three days per week in the wrestling room and three in the weight room. On May 19th at State Finals, I placed 3rd for Freestyle and 4th for Greco, and as a result, I was selected for the National Team representing Michigan. I am now training every weekend with the national team, preparing to compete in Oklahoma City for the National Duals and in Fargo for the Individual Nationals. No matter how how I do, I know I will give 100%, and I will come back a much higher-level wrestler.

I have been raised in a Christian home, where our faith is strong and the core of our focus. I am the President of the FCA group (Fellowship of Christian Athletes) at my school in Chelsea, MI. While my beliefs are strong and at the front of my decision-making, I believe others have different opinions and beliefs, and that no matter what I say, unless I live and lead by example and care for others, my words mean nothing. Integrity is everything, and my faith maintains my conviction in this area.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
