Gavin Shoush '22 Recruiting Profile

My ultimate goal is to wrestle after high school. I fell in love with this sport at a very young age after my dad brought me into it. So far, the highlight of my wrestling career was earning a medal at the Missouri State Tournament, my sophomore year.  But, I grew as an athlete and as a person when I didn't make the state tournament as a freshman. That's when I realized the hard work that is needed to be a great wrestler, which will help me on the  next level. 

In two years of high school wrestling as well as 9 years before that I've learned the values of hard work, commitment, and discipline. I've also had the pleasure of meeting new people and connecting with others through this sport. I'm looking for a college program that will be a great fit for me not only athletically but as well as academically. I am going to continue to improve everyday to show I can compete on the next level as I believe I can! Thank you for viewing my profile and I hope to hear from you soon!
