James Devin Nickols '17 Recruiting Profile

I have been involved in wrestling for nearly 10 years. I am committed to this sport and to my education. I know the collegiate wrestling experience is not offered to just anyone and I am willing to work for my chance of a lifetime. My best qualities are my work ethic and being a quick study. I will soak up any quality instruction. I feel I am mentally tough and give 100% effort all the time. I have a great offense with excellent takedown skills.

Being a wrestler has given me an appreciation for good food. I am excited and passionate about cooking quality food and eating healthy. I love working out, and enjoy the grind. When I am not on the mat myself, I volunteer with the youth wrestling program.

To relax, I enjoy classic cars and working on my 1976 Corvette.
