~My name is Anthony Heng, but everyone calls me Tony. I am the youngest of three children; I am a junior at Lourdes Central Catholic High School in Nebraska City, Nebraska. I wrestle for the Nebraska City Public School, as Lourdes does not have a wrestling team and the schools co-op some sports.
My biggest priorities in life are God, family and school. My passion is wrestling. Everything I do is devoted to bettering myself as a wrestler, that means in the classroom, on the mat and in the off season. I train in the off season with Zac Dominguez at the MWC wrestling academy in Papillion, Nebraska. I started wrestling when I was 8, in third grade, with the Nebraska City Youth Club. I was a member of the Nebraska Elementary Dual team as a sixth grader and competed on Fremont, Ne. In 7th and 8th grade I was a member of the Nebraska Middle School Dual team and competed in Danville, Ill. I have competed in numerous out of state tournaments including North Dakota, Iowa, and Oklahoma. I placed 3rd at the Brute Nationals in KS and 5th at the Monster Match National s in Co. I won the Freestyle and Greco state tournament in 2013 and 2014 at Concordia State University. I wrestled as a cadet in 2013 and on the Junior Dual team in Oklahoma City. I was a State Folkstyle qualifier as a freshman, District Champ and 3rd at state as a sophomore.
My father owns and operates a hog confinement. When I am not in school, wrestling or training I work for the family business. I have also been a member of 4H and competed in livestock shows for the last 7 years.
I believe my destiny is to do great things on and off the wrestling mat. Wrestling is my passion, I love the sport. I want to compete at the collegiate level while earning an engineering degree. I will not stop to go further.
