"Hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work hard," This is the quote I will be living my life by till I get that wrestling state championship next year.I plan to wrestle 126-132 next year. I have three goals that i want to accomplish next year: My first goal is plain and simple, Go undefeated next year, My second goal is to follow up last years confrence title and become a back-to-back Fort Kearney Confrence champion which is no easy goal with Amherst in our confrence who is the state champion team last year, and my final goal would be to be a state championship next year. I believe with all my heart that I can do all these things as long as I out work everyone. I have already gone to four offseason tournaments this season wrestling many state placers, including one match with the state runner-up who I was all but an inch away from beating with the ending score 4-1. This spring I have been working with Kearney's wrestling team (Class A state Runner-ups) twice a week and running and lifting. This Summer I plan to go up with my coach to Grand Island's summer league (Grand Island was the Class A state champions) when we get a chance which will be basically any time they have it that I am not outta town for a camp. Also I plan on wrestling with my Lexington's team this summer as much as i can who have three state qualifiers around my weight class and one state runner-up who wrestles the same weight class as me just in diffrent State Classes. I also plan on going to a big J Rob intensive camp this summer in Iowa, Also throwing in some other camps like a University of Nebraska Kearney Team Camp and whatever else I can do. Also I will be training in some Greco-Roman and Freestyle wrestling this summer especially to further my handfighting skills. I have played football the past three years for my high school team at linebacker and tightend which i plan to do again this year if it will not interfere with the spring wrestling I plan to do with the neighboring town. Basically I will be trying to wrestle any chance I get next year. The only thing that will be able to hold myself back next year is myself I believe, and that will not happen.
