Richard Mills '15 Recruiting Profile

Hi, I'm Richard Mills, and I attend Winnisquam Regional High School in Tilton, NH. I will graduate in 2015 and have been wrestling since the sixth grade. I've been a captain of the varsity team my freshman, sophomore and junior years. I am a 2 time Division 3 State Champion in the 170 pound weight class. During my junior year I was 3rd at All State and a New England Qualifier. I have had an outstanding high school career to date with an overall record of 115-22 with 58 pins. I participated in 2013 and 2014 NHSCA Nationals in Virginia Beach and the Disney Duals last year where I medaled. I had a very successful off-season to date with an overall record of 35-11. I look forward to the upcoming off-season with Doughboy Wrestling Club and plan to participate in the 2014 Disney Duals. Some of my goals are to get my 150th win in my senior year, capture another state title and place high at the New Englands. Right now I am in track & field where I run the 100, 200, throw discus and pole vault. I will be working this summer as a lifeguard and look forward to football this fall. During the 2013 football season I was an offensive guard and middle linebacker. I lead my team in tackles, with an average of 11 per game, and I was selected to DIII First Team All State for defense. I am an honor student, and have a 3.4 GPA. I also participate on student council and help serve my community through my church I work hard and strive to reach my goals and I'm dedicated and determined to be the best student athlete I can be. I look to wrestle at a college with a medical program. The location of the college isn't as important as long as it’s a competitive college that will challenge me. I look to be successful out of college as well, hoping to be employed with a well-paying job and living a happy life.
