Personal Statement

My name is Chazden Blankenship I am a wrestler from Elk City, Oklahoma. I wrestled from the time I was 6 years old until my 8th grade year before taking a few years off due to injuries and to pursue my goals in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. I returned my Junior year only to have my year cut short due to nagging health problems and finished the year with 6 wins and 2 losses. The summer between Jr. and Sr. year I had one thing on my mind, a state championship. I want to be a champion and excel in every thing I do. I will put in 100% of my mind, body and heart and do whatever it takes to achieve the goals I set for myself, and to achieve the goals set for my team and school. I am the Senior captain of my team and I am currently 37-4 on the season.
