Alec Shannon '16 Recruiting Profile

My goal is to be a national champion and I won't stop till I get multiple. After college, I want to win an Olympic gold medal. No matter what I do, I do the best of my ability. I pick out the best partners and work with them before and after practice to get better to complete my dreams. I may not have the best grades, but I put forth my best effort in wrestling because I have such big dreams and I won't stop at anything to obtain them. I wrestled for a very good high school in Pennsylvania and placed either 2nd or 3rd every year. I was varsity my freshman year. After that I was behind a state place winner or state champ every year. I'm just a small town kid with big dreams. I like proving people wrong, nobody says that I can do it.
